A snow chain specially developed for several tyre dimensions. This type of snow chain has the advantage of not being fitted on the inside of the tyre and so does not take up the space required by larger tyres.
Note!
- Snow chains must only be used on the front wheels. Also applies to AWD.
- Use Volvo genuine snow chains designed for the correct car model, tyre and rim dimensions, to prevent damage, for example, to the wheel housing.
- Snow chains with tire sizes 235/40R19, 235/45R 19, 255/40 R19, 255/35 R20, 255/45 R20 and 255/40 R21 do not have the tire size on the label. This can be explained because Volvo Cars International has not tested and released this chain for these tire sizes. This has been a local test by Volvo Cars Netherlands.
- Snow chains can only be used on original Volvo rims.
