-that the driver can easily adjust the speed according to the speed regulations in force

Volvo's cruise control is equipped with a dual safety system:
-when you touch the brake or clutch pedal, the cruise control is automatically turned off
-when any of the buttons on the steering wheel are held down for more than a minute, the cruise control is turned off
