Strong performance is not just something for the summer months. Designed for unmatched winter performance, these snow chains take up less space than traditional snow chains because they are not attached to the inside of the tire. The snow chains provide optimal grip and traction, and should only be used on snow and/or ice.
Note!
- Snow chains should only be applied to drive wheels. On cars with AWD, snow chains must be fitted to the front wheels.
- Snow chains can only be used on original Polestar rims.
- The use of snow chains may cause malfunctions in the Indirect Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (ITPMS).
- Always carefully observe the installation instructions of the snow chains. Put the snow chains on as tightly as possible and retighten them from time to time.
- Before installing the snow chains, consult the local rules for their use.
- Never drive faster than the posted speed limit. Under no circumstances should you drive faster than 50 km/h (30 mph).
- Avoid bumps, holes or sharp turns when driving with snow chains.
- Do not drive on snow-free roads as this will cause excessive wear on the snow chains and tires.
- The driving characteristics of the vehicle may be adversely affected by driving with snow chains. Avoid fast or sharp turns and do not brake with wheels locked.
