Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (dTPMS) is a tire pressure monitoring system. Proper tire pressure reduces tire wear, fuel consumption and safer driving.
The TPMS system uses sensors located in the air valves to monitor tire pressure levels. If the sensors register incorrect tire pressure, the incorrect tire pressure warning light on the instrument panel comes on. In addition, a message is displayed on the driver's display. If the tire pressure light is on, it means that one or more tires have improper tire pressure.
Note!
- Refers to a replacement part (e. g. when buying a new wheel set without sensors). If your Volvo does not have TPMS, retrofitting is not possible.
- If you want to transfer sensors already installed (e. g. when purchasing a new wheel set without sensors), the service set will suffice.
- Available until model year 2016.

Facts and advantages
- Refers to a set of four TPMS sensor/service sets.
- The TPMS system only detects incorrect tire pressure and cannot replace normal tire maintenance.
